What are the features of Alexa?

How is the privacy of guests protected?

Navoo, Alexa or Amazon do not store personal data of guests.
Navoo provides aggregate data to its customers in order to analyze the frequency and type of interactions that have occurred with Alexa.
Alexa is not always listening: the microphone on the Echo device only activates and starts picking up requests when the guest says the word “Alexa.”
Echo Show devices are equipped with a camera, but it is electronically deactivated the moment they are associated with Navoo’s Alexa Smart Properties system, making it unusable.

How do you install and control Alexa?

The room must be equipped with an Echo speaker, to allow guests to interact with Alexa either by voice or by touching the screen.
The Echo device must be connected to the facility’s Wi-Fi, to ensure full and up-to-date service with cloud-based information and functionality.
Managing the information provided by Alexa, setting up system features, and controlling Echo devices is done through a restricted-access website.
